Check for loose parts:
Sometimes, a small gap or loose connection between parts may lead to leaks. Before using the E cigarette, ensure the tank, mouthpiece, and coil are all fitted properly. A quick check before each use may prevent liquid from escaping.
Avoid overfilling the tank:
Filling the tank past its limit may cause the liquid to overflow. Always stop filling when it reaches the marked line, or leave a small space at the top. This space allows the liquid to expand when heated and lowers the chance of leaks.
Keep the device upright:
Laying an e-cigarette on its side for long periods may cause the liquid to shift and leak through small openings. When not in use, store it in an upright position. This may also keep the airflow system clear and dry.
Clean spills right away:
If a leak or spill happens, use a dry tissue or soft cloth to wipe it up straight away. Leaving the liquid on surfaces may cause stains or make the device sticky. Wiping around the mouthpiece, battery area, and tank regularly also helps keep the device clean.
Replace old or damaged seals:
Rubber seals inside the tank may wear out over time. If they are cracked or loose, they may not hold the liquid properly. Some devices come with spare seals, or they may be bought separately. Changing them once in a while may stop leaks from happening again.
Use the right coil and settings:
Using a coil that is not meant for the type of e-liquid or setting on your device may cause too much liquid to build up. This may lead to flooding and leaks. Check the coil type and match it with your device settings and e-liquid thickness.
Carry the device safely:
When taking the device out, place it in a case or pocket that keeps it upright and away from pressure. Avoid shaking or laying it flat for long hours. This reduces the chance of leaks while travelling.
